Job Summary Statement:

 

The Recruiting Coordinator assists the Recruiting team with administrative and recruiting responsibilities.

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to recruiters including administrative and compliance support for the recruitment process.
  • Reviews resumes.
  • Conducts initial candidate phone/email screens.
  • Schedules interviews.
  • Maintains calendaring system.
  • Prepares recruiting documents and reports.
  • Assists in the administration of group interviews.
  • Conducts background checks.
  • Schedules post-offer physicals and drug screens.
  • Maintains the data integrity of the HRIS systems pertaining to candidate activities.
  • Assist in the maintenance of I-9 documents.
  • Ensuring new hire and on boarding process is complete.
  • Updates candidates on their status regarding all parts of the recruiting lifecycle: paperwork, interviews, next steps etc.
  • Follow the recruiting process and make suggestions for process improvement.
  • Work in a fast paced environment.
  • Daily coordination with Recruiting team regarding job postings, client needs, and candidate standings.
  • Assists in the reporting and tracking of compliance documents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: HS diploma or equivalency.
  • Experience: Entry-level position. Knowledgable in direct sourcing using job boards, networking and other recruitment tools.
  • English language skills: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English and Spanish.
  • Math Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Physical Demands: Office and warehouse environment; able to move around the plant/manufacturing environment, walk long distances, and climb stairs.
  • Computer: Intermediate to advanced Excel Skills, MS Office, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
  • Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, detail oriented & talented multi-tasker who enjoys handling several projects at once.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • HR systems experience.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking system.
  • Prior recruiting expeirence.
  • Experience in a high-volume recruiting environment.
